Our Process

Fabrication

All of our products are manufactured by utilizing mirror quality glazing that is procured from US-based float glass manufacturers. All unused scrap material is recycled in accordance with our Environmental Policy.

Edge Treatments

Edging

Clean Cut Edge

The mirror edges are left in their raw cut state, which is sharp to the touch. Recommended for concealed applications where the edge will not be exposed.

Seamed Edge

Also referred to as a swiped edge. This process removes the sharpness from the raw cut edge, making it safer to handle. Suitable for most standard installations.

Pencil Polished Edge

This edge type grinds and polishes the edges so that they are smooth to the touch and aesthetically attractive. Features a rounded profile with a matte finish. Suitable for most glass types.

Decorative Edge

Beveling

Beveling is the process of applying a decorative angled edge around the perimeter of the mirror product. The beveled edge catches and refracts light, adding a classic elegance to any mirror installation.

CNC Cutting

Shapes

We use state-of-the-art CNC cutting and edging machines to produce mirrors that have a shape — such as oval, round, pill, or arch. Files are created and stored for each shape, enabling fast and consistent reproduction for future reorders.

Safety Standard

Safety Tape Backing

We use a special machine that applies a white-colored safety tape backing to the mirror. Safety tape backing can be applied to mirrors to meet ANSI Z97 safety building code standards.

Shipping Preparation

Packaging

We offer several ways to package your mirror product in preparation for shipping release. Packaging is selected based on mirror size, quantity, and destination requirements.

Wrapped L-Bucks

Standard packaging option. Holds mirrors up to 42″ × 60″. Custom oversized L-Bucks available for larger pieces.

Custom Crates & Cases

Built per order specifications for maximum protection during long-haul or international shipments.

Metal Racks

Used for large mirrors requiring vertical support. Return of racks is required after delivery.

Individually Wrapped

Each mirror wrapped in corrugated cardboard with corner protectors for fragile or high-value pieces.
